Event Planner Louisa Hollman has produced extraordinary events for non-profit organizations, corporations and private clients for the past twenty years. While aesthetics and the creation of one-of-a kind events are a priority, Ms. Hollman brings a host of other talents to her work. Well versed in the fields of writing, editing, fundraising, philanthropy, and individual and corporate giving, Ms. Hollman goes far beyond supplying her clients with just a great-looking room and good food.

Ms. Hollman recognizes that no two clients are alike. She understands that each client has distinctive goals and objectives, budget limitations and particular internal dynamics. Ms. Hollman works in close collaboration with each client to maximize resources and develop a unique event that meets the client's goals and objectives.

Prior to creating Louisa Hollman Special Events, Inc. in 1998, Ms. Hollman served for eight years as the Alumni Director at Sidwell Friends School in Washington, DC. Ms. Hollman organized and managed all alumni, donor and institutional special events locally and nationally for the School. She began her career working as an event and travel coordinator for United States Senate Majority Leader Howard Baker in 1984 and later served in the White House as a special assistant to Chief of Staff Howard Baker. Ms. Hollman holds a B.A. degree, cum laude, from The University of Virginia.
